Yuma Kishi

Yuma Kishi is an artist who explores unknown entities emerging from the intersection of the human and the non-human. Reinterpreting AI as "Alien Intelligence," he began his artistic practice in 2019 by designing his own AI models and training datasets. Working in collaboration with systems such as "MaryGPT"—an AI model he developed himself—he creates paintings, sculptures, and installations that blur the boundaries between the artist and the unknown "other." Major solo exhibitions include "Oracle Womb" (2025, √K Contemporary) and "The Frankenstein Papers" (2023, DIESEL ART GALLERY). He was selected for the Agency for Cultural Affairs' 2025 Media Arts Creator Development Support Program and named a 2025 CCBT Artist Fellow. He is the author of *Creation with the Unknown* (Seibundo Shinkosha). He holds degrees from the Graduate School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo and the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts.

Tatsuya Takemori

Tatsuya Takemori is a media artist, engineer, and technical director. Affiliated with Abstract Engine, he works on projects in the fields of art and entertainment that leverage robotics technology, including works by Rhizomatiks. He conducted robotics research at the Graduate School of Engineering, Kyoto University, where he earned a Ph.D. in Engineering. After working as a researcher, he assumed his current position in 2022. Key projects include the "Shadow Up" series, "Syn: New Horizons of Bodily Sensation" (by Rhizomatiks × ELEVENPLAY), "Perfume Disco-Graphy: A 25-Year Trajectory and Miracle," and "PixOrb." He also handled technical direction and hardware engineering for Yuma Kishi’s works "xoxo-skeleton" and "Parallel Forests."
