Group Exhibition "Your Name is ×××" featuring Kaori Miyano, Ayano Takagi, Shigeru Nakafumori, Ruka Wakamatsu, and Misaki Serizawa

The self reflected in the mirror, the self seen by others, the self one imagines—

though they may seem alike, they are ever so slightly out of alignment.

In all manner of places, we encounter "you" in all manner of forms.

Each one feels like a version of oneself, yet simultaneously like someone else entirely.

That form might be a portrait on canvas, a character in a manga, or perhaps just "something" glimpsed in the course of daily life.

This exhibition is a place to encounter "you"—a figure that feels like oneself, yet is also someone else.

"You" might be the ideal self one once aspired to be.

Or perhaps "you" are a presence that tears us away from the self we thought we knew.

When the boundary between self and other blurs, what do we call it?
